Exterior Painting: When Is the Best Time in Sydney?

Sydney's mild winters and dry autumns are ideal for exterior painting. We aim for days with low humidity, temperatures between 10°C and 35°C, and no rain in the forecast for at least 24 hours after application.

Summer can work too, but we avoid painting west-facing walls in direct midday sun heat can cause paint to dry too quickly and lead to brush marks or poor adhesion.

Before any exterior project, we inspect for peeling paint, timber rot, and cracked render. Fixing these issues first ensures your new coat lasts years, not months.
